Kicking off with a grand opening party at Folkestone Quarterhouse.
Come and join us for the grand opening of this years Music in May Festival 2024.
There will be a newly formed Folkestone Music House Band, Starring Music in May All-Star Singers, along with some Special Guests to get the month of May off to a BIG BANG.
The opening party at Fokestone’s iconic music venue Quarterhouse will be a family affair on Sunday 5th May, starting at 2pm in the main auditorium, where you’ll be presented with some world class musicians and singers that will celebrate some of the most popular songs to get the party started.
At 4pm, there will be the after party upstairs in The Clearing with local favourite DJ Dolly Doo Wop who will be spinning some classics to keep the party going whilst you enjoy drinks at the bar.

For Music In May 2024, a Folkestone-based house band will accompany 16 of Folkestone finest singers in a family-friendly celebration, to kick off Music In May 2024
