We’re THRILLED to welcome back ‘CENZONTLE’! It was May 2023 when we last featured this inventive hybrid of traditional and technical beauty to our stage and having them back is just SO cool! Based in Berlin & a mix of experimental indie alternative with hints of Spoken Word, Trip Hop and Latin rhythms. This musical concept of Mexican-born composer Jorge Hernandez invites you to dance, while in the next moment you sink into multi-layered melodies and voices. In-between electronic instruments such as synths, electric guitar, heavy base lines and partly electronic beats, acoustic instruments like accordion and violin create a fun and mesmerising genre bending sound scape. Expect music in many European mother tongues with a universal stripe running through it that anyone with a heartbeat will relate too and pick up on…it’s all about the rhythm man ♥ Last May in ’23 when they were here last audience wasn’t huge (as is often the way for touring bands first visits to a venue) but without any doubt at all, EVERYONE here loved it!! There was dancing, singing, tears, hugs & laughter xx It was SUCH a beautiful zone ♥ This time, whilst entry is free, we are encouraging – for the first time ever – for folks to pay a ‘What You Feel It’s Worth’ contribution at some point x So we sincerely hope you feel it’s worth your appreciation x ♥ x See you guys on Nov’ 7th for feast for the ears xx

GET THIS! It was TWO YEARS AGO that a breath of fresh musical air hit the town in the form of ‘RIOT GULLL’ – here at The Chambers in #folkestonemusictown All about under-represented female fronted music with attitude, that provided safe space – non judgemental welcome’s to all and a new artistic community within music in Kent. Equally importantly, RIOT GULLL encouraged (VERY successfully IMHO) individuals and small groups to come out and experience live music often for the first time with their ‘SOLO GIG GOERS’ meets ups, before open to the general public!! This opened music to a WHOLE new audience, often reticent to try gigs out on their own! HUGE success and single handidly opened doors for new music goers to help sustain live GMV’s and their artistes! The 2nd RG Birthday starts at 4pm on the afternoon on Saturday 9th Nov and has a whole day to bring amazing new artistes to town and has some specials guests hidden under their coats too!! Tickets are on a pay-what-you-can structure between £9- £22 here on DICE; https://dice.fm/…/k6x28o-riot-gullls-2nd-birthday-bash…
