Quarterhouse Lates: MR CRISPY

A vinyl junkie and DJ for over 3 decades, Crispy started out buying breakbeat house & jungle on the way home from primary school at the legendary DJ Randall’s east London store.

This interest only grew over the years, finding shops further afield – spending whole days sifting crates for juicy morsels and then his rent money buying them. As a result came a succession of angry landlords, a big collection of tunes and an even bigger passion for playing them out. Plenty of parties and gigs followed…

Which records actually come out of the bag on the night will be decided as we go, but expect an electric, eclectic ride from the nineties to now – old skool hip hop, leftfield house, layered techno, textured dubstep, tearing jungle & D&B rollers – beats, breaks (amen!) and always plenty of bass to warm the soul!

Quarterhouse Lates is our new, regular Friday night of dancing and good times in The Clearing at Quarterhouse. Your weekly fix of good times and dancing until 1am.
