Lucy May Walker’s writers round is an afternoon of original music in the style of a Nashville writers round where the 3 featured artists take the stage and take turns in playing songs & telling the stories behind them. This exciting new monthly event will be held on the last Sunday of every month at The Music Workshop in Folkestone.

Lucy May Walker
Lucy began her music career by busking on the streets and train stations of London. It was here where she was discovered by BBC Radio 2’s Jeremy Vine who helped catapult her career by inviting Lucy to perform live on both his Radio and TV show. Since then she has supported the likes of Wet Wet Wet, Tony Hadley & Texas as well as selling out numerous UK tours of her own. Her music has been played on ITV’s Love Island and her debut album Nothing Ever Stays The Same released in 2024 was played on BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music and features on Caffé Nero’s instore playlist in all of their UK stores.

Charlotte Campbell
You can often find Brit School Alumni Charlotte on London’s famous South Bank as she regularly busks underneath the London Eye. Charlotte’s street performances have led to sold out shows in London and slots at Cornbury, Henley and Glastonbury Festival. Her original music has been played on ITV’s Love Island UK and her single ‘Free The Night’ was crowned the official song of the TFL Night Tube.

Kitty Montague
The arresting talent of Kitty Montague has led her to accomplishments such as supporting Gabrielle Aplin for Banquet Records, as well as performing alongside Sam Fender at The Cluny in Newcastle. The London based artist is turning heads in the music space, she has acquired Record Of The Week on BBC Introducing Kent as well as receiving tastemaker support from Notion, Clout, and Wonderland.

Tickets are just £5 entry, the show will run from 4-6pm including an interval.
