Lawrence Fletcher is a much sought after saxophonist, playing on the Kent circuit for nearly 50 years. His early career saw him firmly embedded in the Canterbury Scene with FLETCH, his contemporary jazz trio/quartet tackling compositions of the new jazz giants Hancock, Corea and Brecka. Fletcher has played with Jazz composer, Ray Guntrip, American Jazz drummer and arranger, Doug Sides, local legend Perry White, prog rock and jazz fusion leviathans Hugh Hopper and Richard Sinclair and even assisted a teenage Tim Garland with his first clarinet purchase. Lawrence performs with the FLETCH QUARTET and is a founding member of popular Kent Bands Project F and THREE!
They will be performing an eclectic mix of Latin Jazz with Lawrence Fletcher on the bass, clarinet, flute & saxophone, Cyril Manuel on the bass guitar, and Simon Whiting on the drums. Come down for a bite to eat and choose from our lunchtime
