Quarterhouse, Folkestone Music, and Seaview Studio are proud to launch The Quarter Sessions — a brand-new live music showcase created to support up-and-coming and developing artists.

After two successful events (February and May), we are hosting the next Quarter Sessions event on Saturday 26th September 2026.

Each night will feature five carefully selected artists or bands, each performing a 20-minute set of their strongest original material. The aim is simple: to give emerging creatives a professional platform to perform, connect with new audiences, and grow.

This project is a true collaboration. The venue, promoters, organisers, equipment suppliers, and sound engineers are all contributing their time and expertise to provide a state-of-the-art live music experience, helping to strengthen and support the local music ecosystem.

Audience Choice Feature
On the night, the audience will receive tokens to vote for their favourite act. The artist or band with the most tokens will be featured for a full month across Quarterhouse, Folkestone Music, and Seaview Studio websites and social channels — including a filmed interview and a dedicated press write-up.

Artist & Organiser Support
Once basic and reduced venue costs have been covered, a percentage of the event profits will be shared between the performing artists/bands and the organisers, ensuring that everyone involved benefits from the success of the night.

All participating artists will also receive:

• Professional photos and video footage from the event
• A simple backstage rider
• Valuable exposure across multiple platforms
