Three awesome artists perfoming for you in The Clearing at The Quarterhouse Folkestone:
Angeldee is a singer songwriter hailing out of sunny Folkestone on the English Riviera. She writes thoughtful and thought-provoking songs around the observations and experiences of a trans woman in the 21st century and how she deals with the craziness of life today. Some are funny, some are serious, some dark and some uplifting, but all of them are poetic and authentic as she lays her soul bare. As a lover of classic rock and all things 60s and 90s, her music has a retro feel with a sneaky psychedelic bleed of genres and styles. Mind-bending and melancholy, with nostalgia for the past and visions of the future, this music is expressed from a perspective rooted in the culture of today.
Emily Lane:
Emily Lane is a Singer/Songwriter from Kent. Lead by faith and helping others through music, she shares songs of her life that connect with listeners with passion, heart and meaning.
Emily performs solo as well as in a band and everything in between. Her songs are often created using piano as her main accompaniment but she is also equally comfortable working with other musicians to bring the magic to life.
Lucy May Walker:
Lucy May Walker is a Singer/Songwriter based in Folkestone, Kent. Lucy May began her career busking on the streets of London where she was discovered by Jeremy Vine, who invited her onto both his BBC Radio 2 & TV Talk shows. Lucy has supported the likes of Texas, Wet Wet Wet & Lucy Spraggan as well as selling out numerous shows of her own across the UK. She also hosts a monthly gig in Folkestone called ‘Lucy May Walker’s Writer’s Round’ which regularly sells out. After a successful social media campaign, Lucy bagged herself a sync on ITV’s Love Island UK with her single ‘Kiss Me At Midnight’.
