Back by popular demand, Hail Bop Jazz Band return to The Blue Moon Club.
A high-energy, groove-led jazz outfit, they blend jazz, funk, soul and bop into a sound that is both sophisticated and easy to enjoy live. Tight musicianship, bold horn arrangements and deep rhythms make this one that pulls you in from the first note.
Featuring Ivan Thompson on saxophone and vocals, Mick Bishop on keys, and renowned trombonist Annie Whitehead, whose career spans collaborations across the UK jazz and contemporary scene.
Their sets move between soulful melodies and upbeat, danceable grooves, with moments of expressive improvisation and a real connection with the audience.
