Song Lab is an intimate, collaborative workshop designed to help you bring your song to life. Led by singer-songwriter Andrei Ionescu, this session focuses on uncovering the story at the heart of your music—and building everything around it.
Together, we’ll explore:
How to find and express the true story of your song
Creating strong, engaging structures
Developing melodies and harmonies that support your vision
Practical ways to move from “work in progress” to something complete
This is a supportive, creative space where you can share your ideas, experiment, and get thoughtful feedback. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced writer, you’ll leave with a fresh perspective and concrete progress on your song.
Bring your instrument if you’d like—this is a hands-on session.
About the host
Andrei Ionescu is a singer-songwriter with over 20 years of experience, writing for his band The Alpacas as well as for theatre, film, and children’s media. His approach blends storytelling with musical craft, helping songs feel both personal and powerful.
