Joe Bulley is a songwriter, composer, and producer from London, now based in Folkestone, Kent. His music fuses alternative rock, indie, and electronica into a sound that’s sharp, cinematic, and unmistakably his own. Performing with his dynamic five-piece band, he has headlined Compass Festival and shared stages with acts such as The Rifles, Dancehall, and Bob Log III on their national tours.
Following a run of eclectic singles throughout 2024 and 2025, Bulley unveiled his six-track debut EP The Ugly Boy on September 14th, 2025 — a record that balances introspection, dark humour, and flashes of surrealism with bold production and melodic flair.
Drawing on influences from Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, Fat Dog, Mac DeMarco, and Tom Waits, his songwriting thrives on contrast: sardonic storytelling offset by lush harmonies, and self-deprecating wit delivered with punch and confidence.
Joe Bulley also hosts the popular ‘ROCKAOKE’ around the South East. Bulley and his band have learnt nearly 200 songs for people to come and perform live on stage – Karaoke with a live Rock band.
