LINE-UP:
VESU (Folkestone)
Vesu play dismantled alt-rock. Their sound embraces a loud/quiet dynamic that’s both abrasive and woozy, complementing the band’s lyrical exploration of life’s dualities and the darkness and beauty within it all. Space and noise are equal players in creating an emotional tension between sensual vocals, jolts of distortion and an intentional sparseness, giving a sense of expanse and intimacy to draw the listener in.
FRUIT BAND (Margate)
James Gale’s one-piece pop rock project, on the DIY cassette label Fabulous Things. From 2022 pop rock epic ‘Munching the Fruits of Love’ to new album ‘B-Sides’, two tracks each approaching 15 minutes and each sounding completely different to the last, Fruit Band has built a reputation as one of the most fun live acts in east Kent.
MR MOOR — DJ set
Folkestone DJ, historically a member of The Lock-In DJs and more recently YÜTH. His solo sets run the gamut of post-punk, dream pop, gothic rock, synth and indie classics, with a known tendency to veer into techno and d’n’b late at night.
