THE DARKLOVES – ALBUM LAUNCH: BURY MY BONES
Live at The Blue Moon Club
Friday 22 May 2026 | 8pm
As part of Folkestone Music in May, The Darkloves make their debut appearance at The Blue Moon Club with the launch of their new album Bury My Bones.
Join Victoria Darklove and her posse of desperadoes as they take you on a journey through a country noir landscape of whisky, betrayal and revenge.
Blending vivid, impassioned storytelling with Morricone inspired keys and rocking slap’n’twang, this is a sound that is rich, cinematic and full of atmosphere.
The story unfolds through original songs written by Grammy award winning songwriter Lady V, alongside Jeff Trott (Sheryl Crow) and Martin Virgo (Björk).
Featuring:
Neil Bob Herd (The Coal Porters, Dirty Little Acoustic Band) on guitar, bringing the twang and tremolo
John Buckett, described by Bootsy Collins as “officially funky”, holding down the low end
Andy Phillips, praised as “a drumming delight” by W21 Music
This is one of those nights that feels a little different. Something immersive, a bit darker, and not to be missed.
