A powerhouse vintage blues and roots duo, Vince and Sophie deliver jump blues, swing, ragtime and deep rhythm with grit, precision and serious style.
Vince has been playing and singing the blues since the mid 80s, earning a reputation for virtuoso guitar work and a repertoire that runs deep. After a decade working in London as a bass player, Sophie returned to Plymouth and joined forces with Vince in 2022, switching to double bass and helping shape their tight, driving, unmistakably authentic sound.
Their stripped back performances have reached millions online and taken them across the Atlantic to play the legendary Topanga Blues Festival and Gator By The Bay Festival in California. They are the only act in the festival’s history to perform Topanga twice. In 2026, Vince was nominated for two UK Blues Awards.
