Atomic Rooster + Alessandro Alessandrini (of Black Banjo)
There from the start, Atomic Rooster are titans of British prog.
Formed in 1969, Atomic Rooster carved out a heavy, organ-driven sound that sat somewhere between early prog, bluesy hard rock and the darker end of psychedelia.
They hit the UK charts in the early ’70s with “Tomorrow Night” and “Devil’s Answer”, and albums like Death Walks Behind You have become cult essentials for anyone in that era of British heaviness.
The band has worn many line-ups over the years, but the current incarnation leaves nothing to be desired—breathing new life into the classics and showing off an evolved version of their sound.
Alessandro Alessandrini (Black Banjo)
Hailing from Italy, Alessandro Alessandrini is a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter whose time with the blues-rock/southern-rock outfit the E.Z. Riders saw four albums, tours across Europe & the USA — and high-profile opening slots for the likes of Deep Purple and Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators.
Alessandro blends classic influences with modern grit — the kind of one-man performance that feels full-band in its intensity and musicality. We’re very excited to see him play.
What a night this will be.
