Folkestone Community Players Christmas Concert - BACH, BOND and BAUBLES!

If you haven’t been to a Folkestone Community Players concert before you are in for a superb pre-Christmas treat! A dedicated group of over 50 local musicians, of all ages and abilities, play together under the baton of Floriane Peycelon as an orchestra for the sheer joy if it. Their wide ranging repertoire includes classical favourites, musicals, film scores, popular hits and much much more. Highlights of previous concerts have been Sibelius’s epic Finlandia, The Greatest Showman, Phantom of the Opera, Riverdance, Mars from Holst’s Planets Suite, The Beatles and spirited sea shanties. Now in its third year the orchestra is going from strength to strength, raising lots of fun and lots of money for local charities. This year they are supporting The Rainbow Centre with a James Bond-themed programme. If you would like to join the orchestra, please see their Facebook page – everyone is welcome!
