Blue Zero roll into Folkestone for a one-off mid-week stop at 20th Century Speedway.
Hailing from California, the band blend shoegaze and psych rock with a hazy, driving intensity, performing material from colder shade blue (2024) and their latest release, the confusion EP (2025).
Joining them are OurangOutang, a rising Sevenoaks shoegaze/emo/post-punk outfit known for their heavy basslines, sharp, drum-led riffs and commanding vocals. They sit somewhere in the orbit of the UK’s new-wave art-rock scene — if you’re into anything BCNR-adjacent, you’ll get why they hit so hard.
A proper mid-week deep dive into big guitars, volume, atmosphere and two bands doing very different things with the form. One for the heads, and very likely one of those shows people talk about afterwards.
