Scoring a Single of the week in NME, songwriter Toby Oakes has continued to rack up a long list of tunes.

Storytelling strung across melodic, country inflected pop/rock: Observational, self critical, world weary; Soungs injected with wit and some occasional sarcasm. A song smith that delivers with a wink & a wry smile.

Oakes (guitar & vocal) has assembled a band called The Western Heights: Kevin Richards (bass), and Dave Robinson (drums), with recent addition Michael McKeown (lead guitar).

This platform is currently in open beta phase, and as such bugs and discrepancies will be present. We are working continually to resolve issues, improve user experience and add functionality.
