LOWTIDE: Live at The Music Workshop – Nov 9th
🏆 Future Sound of Folkestone Winner 2025
With thanks to Folkestone Music Town and Arts Council England.
Hey, Sidney here.
For this second edition of Lowtide, we’re bringing together poetry, improvisation, and live music in a way you’ve never heard before — this is particularly true with LORE DROP, a one-night-only performance that brings different sides of the local creative community together on stage to create what I’m sure will be some bloody incredible moments.
Headlining the night is Ila, fresh off her Barbican performance, bringing her dreamlike blend of electronica and vocal alchemy to the Workshop.
She’s joined by Oscar — my band — a rock outfit that’s called The Workshop home for the last year. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been building.
Lore Drop features Natasha Luetchford, Gabrielle, Clementine, Eli, and more — performing their words as living sound, backed by an incredible band drawn from Folkestone’s alternative and jamming community.
This is a grassroots, community focused project that’s still finding its feet, so any support means the world. We’ve added a Pay It Forward option, which includes a free Polaroid of Oscar (the dog, and the band’s namesake — the best boy).
NO RESELLING 😉
