Folkestone has a new FREE monthly night of 1920’s to 1950’s music and dance.
Each month our guest DJs will bring you a great mix of 1920’s Charleston, 1930’s and 40’s Swing, Jump Jive and Western Swing, 1950’s Rock’n’roll , Rockabilly, Doowop, along with vintage Latin, Lounge and Calypso
The evening starts at 7pm with an optional fun basic jive class with our regular dance teachers. Classes are at 7pm, £5.00 per person, payable in cash directly to the teacher, Our Clearing bar is card only.
After the class, the dancing carries on into the night with this month’s guest DJs, Cheryl and Chris from our very own hometown legends, Folkestone Swing Jive. Known for their infectious energy, cheeky shenanigans and irresistible vintage vibes, these two always light up the dance floor.
