The 1927 are a Folkestone based group made up of 3 experienced musicians: Colin Chambers (guitar and vocals), Charlie Burton (double bass and vocals) and Craig Gell (guitar, melodica and vocals). As the name suggests, they play songs from the early twentieth century, with a focus on the American jazz age of the roaring 20’s. Their shows are light hearted and relaxed. Their music is like an echo of a bygone era, bringing back previously lost memories of songs your grandparents may have sung to you or played on an old record player. Expect great tunes, lots of harmonies and a warm atmosphere.
