Join us for a excellent evening as we launch Folkestone Triennial 2025 – a summer of bold ideas, world-class art and community celebration.
On Friday 18 July, we’re throwing a free party in the heart of Folkestone. Come to Payers Park and Mill Bay for live music, brilliant street food and a big, shared celebration. This is your invitation to take part in something exciting and full of ambition.
– Live performances from Joe Bulley, Yesterday’s Flowers, Skies and the Big Flava Band
– A special DJ set from Joe Goddard
– Tasty food from The Fat Raj, Burrito Buoy and more
– Fun from 6pm until late
This is the start of a Triennial that will transform our town. Through art, creativity and imagination, we will explore new ideas and bring people together in surprising ways. The Folkestone Triennial is not just an exhibition – it’s a celebration of who we are and who we want to be.
This launch party is about more than music and food. It’s about community, pride and creativity. It’s about celebrating what makes Folkestone special – and showing the leadership and energy that brings people together.
The evening will be full of colour, sound and joy. It’s a chance to meet friends, make memories and welcome in a summer of art and inspiration. We’re proud to begin the Triennial with a moment that reflects our values: excellence, ambition and a strong belief in the power of culture.
No need to book – just turn up and join in.
Everyone is welcome.
This event is free to attend and suitable for all ages. Come as you are and be part of something unforgettable.
Folkestone Triennial 2025 runs from Saturday 19 July to Sunday 19 October.
