Disco Departures with DJ Jamie Bennett
Jamie Bennett’s Disco Departures promises a rhythmic journey through time and space. Setting off at 8pm, moving through the early 1900s taking in Rumba, Calypso, Reggae and Latin. From 9-10pm we’ll navigate through the sounds of Jazz, Soul, Funk and Psychedelic before grooving into the disco era. From there we’ll dance through Post-Disco, into House, and its many sub-genres, arriving back in 2023 by 1am. With percussion from “Sookers” adding a live element, you won’t want to miss a beat. Get ready for a night of pulsating rhythms and infectious grooves!
